To perform an iperf test the user must establish both a server (to discard traffic) and a client (to generate traffic). It can test either TCP or UDP throughput. Here is a few steps i would do in order to find the problem and test network speed:įirst, make sure that the links between your NAS and network is correctly beeing displayed as gigabit and that your cable are OK.
